Roomrot: Infected Walls

Terms of Use

Last updated 3 September 2026 · Elixor Apps · support@roomrot.com

01What you bought

Roomrot: Infected Walls is made by Elixor Apps. Installing or playing it means you accept these terms.

You bought a licence to play a copy, not the software itself. The purchase, the payment and any refund are between you and Meta, under Meta's own store terms — we cannot take payment and cannot issue a refund, so a refund request goes to Meta.

02The licence

Personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, for as long as your Meta account holds the entitlement: install and play Roomrot on Meta Quest devices you are signed in to.

03What you may not do

04Video, streaming and coverage

You may record, stream and publish footage of Roomrot, including monetised video, without asking and without a licence fee. Use the name and screenshots to identify the game. Do not present the game as your own, and do not imply Elixor Apps endorses you or your channel.

05Playing it safely — read this one

Roomrot is a standing, room-scale game. It deliberately sends your hands towards real walls and asks you to crouch and reach under real furniture, while a headset covers your eyes.

06Leaderboards

Playing the daily challenge puts your score and your Meta display name on a board other players can see, as described in the privacy policy. We may remove an entry whose score could not have been played or whose display name is abusive, and we may remove a board entirely.

07Online features may change

The daily leaderboard is the only part of Roomrot that needs a connection. It may be changed, interrupted or discontinued. Everything else — every mode, every challenge, the whole progression — works offline and keeps working if the boards ever stop.

08Updates

Updates may change, add or remove features and may adjust balance. Your saved progress is versioned and migrated between builds; a save from a newer build than the one you are running is refused rather than partly read, so that downgrading cannot damage it.

09No warranty, and what we are liable for

Roomrot is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and our total liability to you for anything arising out of the game is limited to what you paid for it.

Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be removed. If you bought as a consumer, your statutory rights — including under EU and UK consumer law — apply regardless of anything in this section, and nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10Ending the licence

You end it by uninstalling. We may end it if you break section 3 in a way that is not fixed after we ask. Sections 9 and 11 survive.

11Law and disputes

If you bought Roomrot as a consumer, the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in applies to these terms whatever else they say, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country. Nothing above is meant to take that away, and nothing above overrides it.

12Changes to these terms

If they change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to play after a change means accepting it; if you do not, uninstall.
